The IGCP-628 presented the draft 2 of the new Geological Map of Gondwana in the exhibition hall of the most important geological meeting of Brazil, in the city of Porto Alegre. The was the same map presented previously at Cape Town (South Africa), and it was the first to exhibited according to the projection of 183 Ma and also the first to include crustal scale geological structures. The meeting helped with the divulgation of the project and with the gathering of constructive criticism from professionals from Brazil and the rest of world willing to enhance the ongoing methodology and the obtained results.
