Undergraduate students are the driving force of the Gondwana Map Project. Through their effort and great energy, the hard daily tasks of building up a geological database are accomplished. With the years they develop the geological analytical sense of maps from diverse regions globally. Several students participated and are participating on the IGCP-628 issues. Most of them conclude their undergraduate studies with Bachelor thesis on Gondwana topics on small areas in key regions such as southern South America and Africa. The project gives also a singular experience on working in a project team and dealing with international groups.
