Between June 15th to 26th of 2018, the city of Davos, Switzerland, held the Polar 2018 conference, a joint event from the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) and the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC). During this event the researcher Rafael Fragoso presented to some of the most prominent researchers of Antarctic geology and geophysics the pre-edition version of the Antarctic sector of the Gondwana Map. The IGCP-628 received a huge feedback, regarding corrections and additions to the map, aiming to produce a product that will last for years after its publication.
