The IGCP-628 presented “U-Pb detrital data from two metasedimentary successions on the Central Malagasy basement and its Neoproterozoic tectonic evolution” during the 27th Colloquium of African Geology, in Aveiro (Portugal). Researcher Raisa Lopes Costa exhibited some of the results obtained with the analysis of metassedmentary units of the central region of Madagascar, which provided an enriching geological discussion on this fundamental piece for the understanding of Gondwana, thus improving the work performed by the IGCP-628.
