Gondwana is an exceptional subject in terms of connecting a broad scientific community. Its concept involves a multidisciplinary approach linking the more diverse areas of geoscience, e.g. tectonics, paleontology, structural geology, sedimentology, paleoclimatology, mineral resources, petrology, mineralogy, geophysics, geochemistry, history of geological science, and many others. It is also extremely connective because of the cultural aspects. Since the Gondwanan fragments are now totally dispersed worldwide, the Gondwana scientists come from contrasting cultures, with scientific views that may be complementary. Science advances with the merge of diverse opinions. The integration of Gondwana scientists is one of the outstanding impacts of this project.
