Part of the IGCP-628 team went to the capital city of Thailand, Bangkok, in order to participate on the Gondwana 16th Puzzling out Gondwana Conference. Through this event the participants managed to learn more about the latest findings and current researches related to Gondwana which are occurring all over the world, but especially about the asian terranes (e.g. Thailand, India, China), Australia and Antarctica. Moreover, a group of reviewers met up to suggest modifications, enhancements and small corrections when analyzing the maps of each continent that compose Gondwana. The Pre-1st Edition draft of the new Gondwana Map was exposed in a poster of 4×3 meters and six different presentations were performed by the members of the Gondwana team during the event:
